This letter is to commend you and your company on the excellent Vang Comp Systems modifications performed on the Burbank Police Departments Mossberg 500 / 590GS shotguns.  The reduction of shot spread, (at all ranges), abbreviation in felt recoil, and most significantly and enormous reduction in muzzle flash, (when firing 00B and slugs), out of short 14" barreled shotgun is remarkable.

The Mossberg 590GS shotguns are perhaps the most underrated tactical shotguns in law enforcement today.  Besides being ambidextrous and robust, the Ghost Ring Sights are exceptional with the slide action and trigger pull being smooth right out-of-the-box.  The only genuine improvement to the Mossberg 590GS 14" barreled law enforcement shotgun would be the Vang Comp Systems modifications as performed by your company.

The Burbank Police departments patrol shotguns are equipped with the "Comp Model" modifications to their 14" barrels and the Special Response Team shotguns have the "Gunsite Model" barrels.  Consequently, officers are utilizing the Vang Comp System shotguns with greater confidence in themselves and their shotguns more frequently and with outstanding results.
